Returns & Refund Policy

At Leonis Maretti, product integrity and quality are essential to everything we make. This policy applies to all orders worldwide and explains how returns and refunds are handled.

01 — 30-Day Return Window

All customers may request a return within 30 days of delivery, provided the item meets the condition requirements below.

The return period begins on the day the shipment is marked as delivered by the courier. Courier delays or failed delivery attempts do not extend the return window.

EU statutory rights

Customers within the European Union retain their statutory right of withdrawal under EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU: 14 days from receipt to notify us of withdrawal, and a further 14 days to return the item after notification. Our 30-day commercial return window is offered in addition to, and does not limit, these statutory rights.

02 — Return Conditions

To qualify for an approved return, all of the following conditions must be met:

The product must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition.
All tags, labels, and original packaging must be fully intact.
The item must be free from stains, odors, fragrance, deodorant, hair, or any traces of wear.
The original order number and proof of purchase must be included.
Prior return authorization must be requested before shipping (see Section 06).

All returned items undergo a quality inspection upon arrival. Items that do not meet these conditions will be refused and may be returned to the customer at their own expense.

Leonis Maretti reserves the right to refuse any return showing signs of use, alteration, cleaning attempts, or unauthorized return shipment.

03 — Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Transit damage on arrival

If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, contact us at contact@leonismaretti.com within 48 hours of delivery, including:

Your order number
Clear photos of the item and packaging

This timeframe allows us to file a claim with the carrier. Once verified, Leonis Maretti will, at its discretion, offer a replacement or refund and cover reasonable return shipping costs.

Manufacturing defects

Manufacturing defects discovered after delivery are covered by the statutory warranty applicable in your country of residence — two years for consumers within the European Union. Contact us with photos and your order number and we will resolve the matter in accordance with applicable law.

Incorrect item received

If you receive a product that does not match your order, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photographic evidence. We will arrange a replacement and cover return shipping costs.

04 — Return Shipping Costs

Unless an item is confirmed as defective, damaged in transit, or incorrect, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Returns must be shipped prepaid and include tracking information.
Packages sent collect or with unpaid customs duties will be refused.
For non-EU returns, all customs duties, import taxes, clearance fees, and related charges remain the responsibility of the customer.
Tracked and insured shipping is strongly recommended. Until the returned parcel is received and confirmed by Leonis Maretti, it remains the customer's responsibility.

05 — Refunds

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 10 business days after the returned item arrives at our warehouse and passes quality inspection. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.

What is refunded

For EU customers exercising statutory withdrawal: the product price and the original standard delivery cost are refunded. Premium or Express shipping upgrade fees are non-refundable.
For all other approved returns (defects, incorrect items, goodwill returns, non-EU returns): the product price is refunded. Shipping fees, customs duties, import taxes, and payment processing fees are non-refundable.

Additional notes

Refunds cannot be issued for returns that do not arrive at our facility.
Leonis Maretti reserves the right to apply a partial refund or issue store credit in cases of partial non-compliance with the return conditions.
Repeated or excessive return activity may result in refusal of future return requests at the discretion of Leonis Maretti.

06 — How to Start a Return

All returns require prior written authorization. This ensures we can confirm eligibility, send you the correct return address, and process your refund efficiently.

To request a return, email contact@leonismaretti.com with:

Your order number
Reason for return
Supporting photos, if applicable

If approved, you will receive written confirmation and detailed return instructions. Approved returns must be shipped within 14 calendar days of authorization.

Returns shipped without authorization, to an incorrect address, or outside the approved timeframe will be refused.

Important

All returns require prior written approval via contact@leonismaretti.com. Unauthorized returns sent to this address without approval will not be accepted, will not be refunded, and cannot be returned to sender. Please always request return authorization before shipping.

08 — Exchanges

Leonis Maretti does not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to receive a different size, color, or product, please place a new order separately and return the original item under the standard process.

Availability is not guaranteed, and items cannot be reserved.

09 — Important Notes

Each order requires separate return authorization.
Multiple approved returns may be combined only with prior written approval.
Returns lacking tags, packaging, or accessories will not be accepted.
Any parcel returned without authorization, with unpaid fees, to an incorrect address, or outside the approved timeframe will be refused and returned at the customer's expense.
