Leonis Maretti began with a simple observation. Menswear had become loud. Logos replaced structure. Trend replaced permanence. The man who had outgrown all of that had nowhere left to go.

So the house was built for him. Not around decoration, but around line, weight and light. The discipline an architect brings to a building, brought to a sweater, a trouser, a shoe.

Every piece in the collection is measured against the same four rules. If it fails one, it does not leave the house.

Proportion over decoration

Form, line and light carry a garment. Ornament only interrupts them. Every piece is drawn before it is made, and the drawing is where most of the work happens.

Silence as luxury

Nothing shouts. Matte fibres, calm surfaces, measured colour. The kind of refinement that is recognised in a room, never announced to it.

Material as monument

Cashmere, merino, suede, linen, cotton. Fabrics with weight and presence, chosen the way stone is chosen for a façade: for how they hold, how they age, how they feel against the hand.

Designed to be worn for years, not seasons. Timeless in silhouette, warm in hand, exact in fit. A wardrobe you build once and return to.

We work with few materials and know each of them well. A fabric is chosen for how it behaves on the body over time, not for how it photographs on day one.

Soft, light, warm without weight. Our cable knits, crew necks and hoodies are built on it. It softens with every wear and holds its shape through all of them.

Sweaters

Maretti Merino^®

Fine, matte, breathable. The fibre for a sweater worn from a morning meeting to a late dinner, without a crease in between.

Footwear

Maretti Suede^®

Dense nap, deep colour, quiet surface. The foundation of our loafers and sneakers. It ages like a good interior: slowly, and better.

Trousers & Shirts

Maretti Linen^®

Dry hand, open weave, cool against the skin. The fibre for warm-weather trousers and shirts. It creases with character and only gets softer.

Polos & Tees

Maretti Cotton^®

Dense, smooth, quietly structured. The base of our polos and tees. Holds its colour, keeps its collar, washes without complaint.

Quality is not visible in a photograph. It is felt in the third year.

Proportion
Every design starts as a question of line: where the shoulder sits, how the hem falls, how much air lives between fabric and body. The proportion is fixed before anything else is decided.

Material
The fibre is chosen to serve that proportion. A structured silhouette asks for a fabric with body. A relaxed one asks for drape. The material is never an afterthought to the shape.

Fit
Two fits, clearly named. Tailored, true to size. Relaxed, one size up for ease. No guessing, no sizing roulette, and a size guide built on real body measurements.

Wear
A piece is only finished once it has been worn. Washed, folded, worn again. What holds its form and its colour stays in the collection. What does not, never reaches you.
