Depth in the frame

The frame is cut from a single sheet of acetate, a material with depth running through it rather than colour laid on top, so the grain shifts as the light moves across the front. The temples are sculpted to taper toward the ear and set with small metal rivets at the hinge. Polished by hand to the finish, then left alone.
