MARETTI MERINO MESH®

Knitted to Give

The upper is knitted from engineered merino mesh, worked in one piece so it moves with the foot instead of resisting it. The knit opens across the forefoot where air is wanted and tightens through the midfoot where the foot asks for hold. Smooth leather runs along the eyestay and around the toe, drawing a clean line through the knit and holding its shape.

MARETTI KNIT COLLAR®

Closed at the Ankle

The upper is knitted in one piece up to the opening, so the collar closes against the ankle without a seam or a separate cuff and the shoe pulls on like a sock. A tonal leather panel carries the eyelets, giving the lacing something firm to pull against where the knit alone would give. Supportive where it needs to be, soft everywhere else.
